Hotel a Hawley

“Expected a lot more for the price!! The overall feeling when you walk in the door is that you’re at a below average hotel. It’s kind of dark and humid in the lobby, not super clean. The bathtub was chipped all on the floor, there were orangish brown stain in the tub. My son said the hot tub was like an ice bath and the pool was like a hot tub. There were ants all around the indoor pool. They even put up a sign on the door that the pool was broken as he was in it, but didn’t ask him to...

“I did wake up hot one night. Lowering the thermostat and raising blower speed solved the problem. There is no coffee in the rooms.”

“Elegante was great and would be a great place for a seminar. My Father and I stayed 5 days. Clean with a lot of character. It was quiet when needed and a lot of people having a good time. Elegante fue bien! Despues de cinco dias me siento contento con esta lugar! Los cuartos son limpios.Eleganté fue tranquilo cuando necesario. Cuando regresa a Tejas podemos quedar aqui otra vez! ”

“Staff was super friendly even when busy”

“Swimming pool was green and then had informed us it was open. Rooms were not clean”

“The room was full of construction dust, uneven shower floor, toilet handle sticking with water running and breakfast was late on the weekend. Bed was really comfortable, lovely automatic blinds (but no instructions), TV size was good, nice cable services. ”

“I have travel all over the world and safely say this is the worst stay. This hotel was dirty, broken down. The lights didn't work or light bulbs were burned out. ”

“Upon arrival, the ice machine was not producing any ice. The room was not clean - cobwebs around door frames, the toilet had not been cleaned (bowl was dirty and there were stains of hair), the bathtub had accumulated dirt which would not drain out, television did not work. Staff offered to switch to an alternate room, which was in even worse condition. I will never stay in a Super 8 again. The company charges royalties from the property but does not appear to enforce minimal standards. ...

“Bed was one of the worse I’ve ever slept on at any of my hotel stays. Rooms were filthy, management was rude and location was very inconvenient, property not very unkept. Waste of money! DO NOT RECOMMEND! ”

“Clean room. Kitchen was not well stocked for cooking. No bowls for cereal. A/C unit was extremely loud. Loud enough to wake you up in the middle of the night. Had to call the answering service to get door code. Took about 15 minutes to get into the cabin. ”
