Hotel a Hawley

“The breakfast hot items were empty at 8am. Staff had to be asked to refill, which was done in a friendly manner, but only minimally. Coffee was also empty in the breakfast room though there was coffee in the lobby. ”

“Check in was easy and gentleman was very pleasant. Room was clean, large bathroom and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and room had all necessary things for a good nights rest. Large pool and hot tub available. Used the hot tub which was great after a long days drive. Better breakfast than most! Will stop again as I travel through over the next couple of weeks.”

“I love this hotel/market and will absolutely be back, but you should know the property backs up to an active railroad and trains pass through at all hours. The building is stunning, and well maintained. It’s a mixed use property with the first floor being a market with food and vendors. The shops are so cute and have such unique items. “The facilities are nice, big pool and open area for the kids. We've stayed her several times in the past and have eaten at the restaurant the service was good but this time, we walked out. The waitress stood in the back corner talking with 2 people that she appeared to have known, didn't attend the people waiting to get seated or the ones that were ready to order. We walked out and went to a local place that was very good and the service much better. ”

“I'm not picky, but the room was nasty. Sheets were stained and pillow cases looked so old/dirty/used... It was gross. The floor was dirty, bathroom floor had crumbs all over it. You could hear everything outside the room (might've been due to the 1.5" gap at the bottom of the door between the door frame). Wouldn't recommend to anyone I know. ”

“We loved staying at the quality inn when we stay in Detroit Lakes 5 times a year. But the last three times we stayed the water slides and hot tub have been out of order. Which is the man reason we used to stay here. The staff has always been amazing and breakfast is great. But with five kids, we are always so disappointed to show up and the slides and/or hot tub aren’t working. ”
