“The accommodation was spacious and luxurious - particularly the beautiful bathroom! The staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Downham is an outstanding location and very picturesque - it’s lovely and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, as was dinner in the restaurant. Absolutely recommend and we hope to return! ”

The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. ”
