“A charming Inn to stay and enjoy all that passes by in Lock 7. Hskp staff very attentive and don’t miss a thing. Room 25 on 3rd floor is not perfect for photography as the neighbouring tree blocks a full shot of the ship in the lock. Balconies are a real plus and very clean! The chairs at the table are getting tired and should be replaced. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Make sure you visit the quaint town of Thorold. Lots of cafes and shops to enjoy within walking distance!”

“The room was a place to stay for a night. The bed was comfortable enough, there was a fridge and a microwave in the room. The clerk was pleasant. It was a no frills stay and that’s fine for the price. Only thing that might bother some is the a/c was noisy. It didn’t bother me.”

“It was okay. Staff was friendly, breakfast was fine. The room was not what we expected, is was too simple, the living room was converted into a bedroom by placing 2 queen size beds and a twin bed in it. No privacy at all. Then there was 1 single bedroom with 2 more beds that was okay, barely a closet space. The beds were VERY HARD LIKE ROCKS!!! I guess it was okay because we went by to visit and walk around and not to simply stay in the room but I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays or for...

“Hotel was clean but dated. The power outlets in the room did not work. The front desk advised that there was nobody available to fix the issue and that there were no rooms available to move us to. The TV controller worked but was split in half. The shampoo was empty in the shower.”
