Guest house a Hermit Island

“We had a wedding in town which was about 3 miles away- easy drive. The place was clean but rustic. Pet friendly which was very important to us. John communicated well/ a really beautiful spot waking up to beautiful views!”

“Albergo carino e molto comodo. Posizionato bene per andare a Freeport e spostarsi a nord come tappa intermedia. Pulito e senza problemi. ”

“We had a very nice 10-day stay at this cottage. The location was great for us, the house was as expected from the listing, and we were generally very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The host was very friendly, accommodating and responsive leading up to and during our stay. The main area that could use improvement is the cleaning. There was some trash left inside when we arrived, and the kitchen—particularly the stovetop, sink, and some of the smaller surfaces...

“Motel molto accogliente, posizione comoda, pulito e la colazione era abbastanza fornita”

“Breakfast was not great. Bed was uncomfortably soft. Definitely could use a new mattress. Guess that’s what you get for the price.”

“First thing we were told was that renovations were being conducted and the water may have some sediments in it. But they forgot downtown the plywood mattress. Not a comfortable bed. But when are hotel beds comfortable? The desk lady was right. We were able to change the color of a wash rag from white to brown orange after holding it under the fawcett. After about 15 minutes of this it only changed the rag color to dingy dirty white. BUT, good news as in the morning, with all the other people...

“Wonderful views. Comfortable. ”

“Motel vecchiotto e non troppo pulito. Parcheggio gratuito di fronte alla camera. Colazione gratuita poco fornita. Camera con frigor, microonde e anche fornelli per cucinare”

“An exceptional property. Located right on Main Street, just steps away from shops and restaurants, it offers warm, impeccably clean, and remarkably quiet rooms. The staff is always helpful—ready to assist with anything you might need or simply to share a friendly chat. The atmosphere is refined, elegant, and inviting, with that classic New England charm that makes the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast is generous, and the on‑site restaurant serves excellent dishes for both lunch and dinner....

“Great location for a visit to Brunswick. We took the Downeaster from Woburn for an overnight. Our room was on the first floor in the Carriage House which was nicely decorated but the noise from the room above was a bit much: we could hear the other guests conversations and movements. We were able to enjoy both dinner and breakfast in the main building.”
