“Great place to take the family and visit the nearby beaches. Head and Popham are within 15 minutes. We were booked in a Lighthouse room that had the view of the water blocked by trees and management was very helpful switching us to a better room.”

“The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. “The rooms are ok , the bed confortable but be aware that since people can bring dogs you might have one staying next door like we did and the dog was barking. The worst part of the stay was breakfast . No healthy option, nothing fresh , powder eggs, very salty cheap bacon. The coffee was horrible, everytjing was sweeten. As a diabetic, there were nothing I could really eat . Also the toaster was broken and everything was double wrap in plastic , even the apples! In these days and age,...

“Wow what a beautiful location. We were there right at the peak of fall leaf colors. Would have loved to take a kayak out with my fish rods but the water was cold and we had some rough waters that week. Would love to go back and enjoy this area in the summer.The place was clean and comfortable.So much to do and see in the area so we were only there to sleep at night. ”
