“The view was outstanding - what a peaceful place to celebrate our 20th anniversary! We took advantage of all amenities and enjoyed every bit of it - meals and wine on the deck, paddle boarding and kayaking, playing games, going for walks, hot tubbing, daily visits from the local deer, and just sitting on the deck taking in the scenery and fresh air. “We wanted a quiet getaway and chose Sunset Lagoon because of the great reviews and the promise of seafood. If you like shellfish, this is the place for you! If you like a serene view and (usually) a great sunset, this place delivers. If you love kayaking or paddle boarding, you have a beautiful place to do it. The owners are kind and helpful. You do need to think through what you need in advance since there’s no store on this island. But that’s just a little planning in advance.”
