“The cabin was clean, great information in the guest book, and the ferry ride process was flawless. We had an amazing time kayaking, walking/exploring around the island, watching the local wildlife (seals, deer, tide pools and more), sitting in the hot tub and feeding the deer. This is an amazing spot and would recommend it to everyone. It is a wonderful break away from the every day life. ”

“Nice, quiet location. House was well equipped. We didn’t use the kayaks as our friends on the island have plenty, but it’s a great option to have available. Loved our morning walks to say “hi” to the island deers. Would definitely stay again. ”

“We were a little nervous about spending Thanksgiving with the grocery store a ferry ride away. However, the Ostrich Nest had everything we needed to cook a full meal (we did bring the roasting pan though)! The bed was roomy and comfy, the bathrooms had the necessities and great water pressure, the home was super clean and updated.Our doggos LOVED that the water was right outside the back door, and they were stoked about the treats and extra balls left for them. But.... the best part.......

“We had a wonderful time at this property. Heron Island itself is such a peaceful place and this house allowed us to relax and unplug. The house itself was clean and well equipped. The hot tub was also clean and in working order. The host was very responsive to any questions that we had.
