“Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back...

“I think it’s brand new. Everything was very nice. Breakfast was good (I love waffles and sausage). The man working the evenings, named Raj, was fantastic. Made sure we had everything we needed! I was on crutches so he even offered to get me my coffees and was the friendliest hotel person I’ve ever met. I hope we can go back again soon! Oh, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. I wish I could figure out what mattress, pillows and bedding they have. Felt like a slept on a cloud. ”
