“Clean room and helpful staff ”

“Wingate was perfect for my weekend stay while I visited my family in town (New Braunfels)! Pros: The room was perfectly spacious, the breakfast (while limited with options) was yummy, staff was friendly and inviting, and the overall hotel was kept clean throughout my stay. Cons: My stay came to an end and I had to check-out.😪 All jokes aside, this is a great hotel- I have no complaints! ”

“Truly incredible historical building, thoughtfully updated and decorated. Basic amenities are provided plus fresh drinking water and ice, a spotless shared fridge, wine opener, Keurig coffee (but def check out Oliver Coffee downstairs, so easy and delicious!) The location is in the center of town, walkable to any San Saba landmark you'd like to see, including downtown shopping and dining, and the more pastoral Mill Pond Park and the River Nature Park. “All the staff was very friendly. Room was clean but needs a little updating. I understand that renovations are currently being done. Breakfast was typical. Room had a great view of river right on it. Pool looked nice and clean Had it been a little warmer I would definitely have jumped in. If you like geocaching, there is one on the property.would definitely stay again. ”

“The hotel is brand new and spotless clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Proximity to Baylor Scott and White hospital is easy access. The kitchenette made feeding the family less expensive. Best hotel experience I have ever had. Thank you to the staff.”
