“The grounds were amazing. We were allowed to pick our own fruits like papaya, sapote, banana, mountain apple, avocado, cacao, etc. The property was clean and cozy, and the outdoor shower was very nice. Only downside was a couple of loud coqui frogs at night, and it was a bit of a drive to Hilo.”

“From the moment we arrived on the property, we could tell it was going to be beautiful! The little cabin is situated in the middle of the forest 10 minutes from volcano national Park. The grass driveway and surrounding forestry is pretty amazing to arrive too. The cabinet itself is clean and updated, while still remaining very charmingly rustic. “My husband and I had the most enjoyable stay at the Huilili Farm. The Pineapple cottage was so comfortable, and had everything we needed. Both the inside bed and the outside hanging bed were super comfy. It took a lot of will power to get out of the hanging bed on the lanai to go sightseeing. We enjoyed visiting Akaka Falls and the town of Honomu and its eateries, as well as the Hakalau trail (if you are concerned about bugs—mosquito repellent was effective). “Biggest advantage of the house is the short distance to the N.P. The house itself could be a little bit more cleaned. Also the bed is not very comfortable. But all in all we had a good time. ”
