“Was surrounded by the perfume, smell of hibiscus and ginger flowers. Very private quiet location. Would go there again.”

“Lehua looked great in the add and was far better in person. We loved our stay-and seriously considered asking if we could stay longer. “LLC” had everything we needed and more-we were able to cook all our meals in a delightfully comfortable setting. Coqui frogs, though invasive, were a lovely treat to fall asleep to at night. We were unbelievably close to Volcanoes NP, for the fountaining lava and close enough to summit Mauna Kea! “This was a very cozy, clean and pleasant cottage for an island getaway. Marie was able to arrange a floral arrangement for my wife’s birthday, which was beautiful and extremely thoughtful. There were plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby and they were only a short distance from the cottage. We would definitely stay there again!”

“This was such a fantastic off-grid getaway. If you enjoy the sound of crashing waves against the rocky cliffs 24/7, living in the jungle with fresh fruit trees and coconut trees, and hearing the sound of evening rain showers from the topical climate, then this is the place for you. My fiancé and I booked this 9 months in advance to go visit the Volcanoes National park (which is less than 45min away) and got to see Kilauea erupting!Also, booking well in advance will save you money as most hotels...

“Perfect stay in a quiet neighborhood. It was close to everything we wanted to do including the volcano. Clean and comfortable. the only thing we found ourselves missing was a microwave but we were able to make due with everything else available which was perfect. Thank you for the comfortable stay. Will be staying here again if we visit another time.”

“The cottage was fantastic. Had all the amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a view of a golf course, but easy driving distance to the Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano. We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. ”

“This was a great place to stay to enjoy the Hilo side of the Big Island. Sitting on the patio enjoying morning coffee or an evening meal were the favorite moments of our stay. The owners are kind and giving hosts and proud to share the bounties of their farm. ”
