“The building is old, well cared for with rustic - with character. The bed was comfortable and the room had a small sink. Toilet and shower are communal and I found them to be very clean. There isn't a coffee maker in the room but they bring out coffee in the hallway. There is a wonderful bagel bakery on the same block with coffee if you need it earlier. I'd definately stay here again but if you want all the usual comforts of a hotel, this is not the place. If you are flexible, it's a fun place...

It has been renovated and well-maintained, though, and is a good choice for people looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in north Portland. It is very close to a light rail stop, and also to bike lanes and bicycle-friendly streets.”

“Staff was key to making this trip so nice. Thanks Jess, Wesley, and Ginger! Room was nice, roof top was sweet. The cleanliness and facilities I think were nice but only slight bummer was the shared microwave can get a little dirty depending on the other guests. Also, the walls are understandably hotel thin so could hear next room opening drawers and of course when the cleaning service is going on.”
