“I’ve stayed at other La Quinta Hotels before and it wasn’t bad .But this location in Irvine was horrible we checked in and saw how horrible the rooms are and checked out in less than 15 mins this place should be investigated for how poorly the whole place looks. Only good part is the refunded our money it was almost like they were not surprised how fast we came back to the front desk to check out. ”

“The room wasn’t clean, at all. I was traveling with my friends young son as they were possibly losing their apartment and we wanted to get him out of the house. Upon walking in, it was clear they hadn’t cleaned the room at all. At some point in the night, my friend’s kid saw what he thought was a balloon under the bed - nope, a freaking condom. Thankfully I sensed it wasn’t a balloon and immediately told him to not touch it - horrible experience. For the last minute need, it was affordable and...

“The embassy suite was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast and evening snack was really nice and the service was excellent. The only thing I can think of that I wish was different was in the courtyard where breakfast is served it was WAY TOO COLD. Like freezing while trying to eat breakfast. ”

““Hot”water was just tepid. No stand for suitcase. Lighting in bathroom too low for makeup application. No tea in room, only coffee. Room itself is charming, but noisy. Because of the motel like setup, you can hear people using the pool and traffic. The staff were lovely. But at 72, this just wasn’t my cup of tea….haha”

“I love this hotel! Stayed on the 6th floor, double queen beds, my wife and kids enjoyed our stay and the staff were very personable and nice! Definitely coming back!”

“Good hotel, but I will say that depending on who was at the front desk, the service or urgency of requests did lack. Not something that I blame them for, mainly because it was the weekend and was busy. The gentleman who works nights was awesome though - had a great convo with him around real estate and he was always engaged with visitors. Room was pretty small, but definitely in great shape and a modern look. For the price though, I may look somewhere else but fortunately I was able to take...
