“My parents were the managers in the 70s (I was 3-6 years of age). It was the Sandy Bay Motel back then. So wonderful to recognise the buildings and remember some of the fun times when I was little. We had several "famous" people stay with us. My fondest memory was meeting Acker Bilk who gave me a ukele. As a 4 year old I was tickled pink! I will definitely be back soon and thank you for so much for the trip down memory lane. 😊”

Just turned the air con off & opened a window. Only mentioned this as eco is in the ratings. As the temp throughout the hotel was so warm we did not need to turn the air back on @ all. ”
