“My parents were the managers in the 70s (I was 3-6 years of age). It was the Sandy Bay Motel back then. So wonderful to recognise the buildings and remember some of the fun times when I was little. We had several "famous" people stay with us. My fondest memory was meeting Acker Bilk who gave me a ukele. As a 4 year old I was tickled pink! I will definitely be back soon and thank you for so much for the trip down memory lane. 😊”

The price was very reasonable, the location is great and convenient for accessing Hobart, Mount Field NP and other sights and experiences in the regiion. The decor of this motel is certainly an experience of its own - quirky, eccentric, asian fusion meets retro, with a bit of childlike creative artistry and a large sprinkle of glitter for garnish!”
