“Utroligt stort og dejligt varmt værelse. Blev taget godt imod, trods travl pub-quiz-aften ! Ved en fejl, blev vi opkrævet for værelset, skønt forudbetalt - vi var på rundtur, så det .... Men super service med hurtig returnering af dobbeltbetalingen. Maden var også supergod !”

“Lovely place very quint If your looking for a king size bed try elsewhere Location is excellent as is the area around lots of places to eat but you do need to book at the more well known places.”

“We were well looked after by members of staff. Breakfasts were really good with excellent choice. Bedroom was of a good size with good wardrobe & drawer space. The lower area of shower externally was not very clean!”

“Booked 2 Rooms & when we arrived the Host said she wasn't letting out Rooms anymore so we were stuck at 7.30pm with nowhere to stay. Having trouble getting a Refund from you. Definitely wouldn't recommend.”

“Well situated quiet accommodation within easy walking distance of beautiful Alnwick. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Groom’s room which is upstairs in the owners home. It was spacious with a very comfy bed, a sofa, lovely quality furnishings and a table just outside the room where a perfect breakfast was served. David and Bev our hosts were so welcoming and have thought of everything. Absolutely no complaints as everything was top notch and we look forward to returning and hopefully stay...

“Beautiful house and gardens although when we were there it rained a lot so didn't get chance to use the garden. Really friendly hosts nothing was too much trouble and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. EV charging is not a problem either. All in all, perfect hosts and a perfect weekend break.”

“We were very impressed with the Bottle Lodge and the Dirty Bottle. Very quirky and well thought out. Some points - - the bedside lamps had lampshades with patterned structure which gives a dreadful lamp with which to read with. - Small shampoo shower bottles - surely there is something more eco-friendly than these small bottles”

“Beautiful rooms, hot tub was perfect for us arriving, very comfy bed, great room layout. We opted for breakfast delivered to our room and there was such a lot, bacon sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc. The cabins are laid out in such a way that you forget you have neighbours, so quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing night away. The only faults (if I really dig deep) are that the fire pit area could be better landscaped so you don’t walk bits back in to the cabin or get dirt in the...

“This property was fantastic, excellent location overlooking the sea. Perfect for 4 couples as each bedroom has its own en-suite/bathroom. Welcome basket of bread, jam, tea, coffee, butter and milk was nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Beds were excellent and we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. Parking was easy. Liz was very responsive to any questions we had. And the lounge was a perfect place to relax after a day out. We were only 2 but 4 people would be very comfortable. Jean”
