“My wife and I didn't really enjoy our stay here this week. It's a little hard parking around the pickups in the driveway. The smell of the room really hit us hard - mildew and too much potpourri. Felt like visiting your grandparents' house. The room & bathroom are stuffed with Americana knickknacks & art you either enjoy it or, like us, are overwhelmed. It's funky, funky, funky. Positives include it was very clean, they offer lots of food items, they have many toiletries in case you forget...

“The outside lock was broken (and a sign inside the room said to always keep the door locked while in the room), there were several prominent signs saying that they are not responsible for damaged or stolen property, a person was smoking meth in the parking lot, the bed was worse than a cot. “Updated rooms and hallways. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I like that it’s kind of tucked away in a real neighborhood, 100 yards from a Safeway and on a pretty walking path along the river. I’ve never felt unsafe arriving late. ”

“We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. The concierge on each night was welcoming and competent. My only complaint is that on the second night, our supposedly non-smoking room smelled strongly of stale tobacco smoke.
