“I previously had a pleasant experience staying at this hotel during Thanksgiving with my family. However, my current stay has been extremely disappointing. “I've stayed here many times while traveling through Mobile. First, to give credit where it's due, I still consider this the best hotel in Mobile. That said, each stay seems to come with a different room quality and a different staff experience. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, although on occasion I get the impression that some employees are not particularly happy to be there. The rooms are the biggest unknown. “The rooms had lots of roaches. One of the refrigerators needed defrosting because a drink was stuck in there. Trash underneath the beds. One dryer doesn't get hot took my $2.00 and the other u literally had to hold the door in order for the dryer to get hot. No ice on either floor and the drink machine wasnt working. The shower was warm water and nothing in the vending machines and NO POOL”

“Reviews stated it was clean, but when I took my family it was bad, place looked abandoned, I checked in thinking well we just need a place to stay so we went to the room and we thought the elevator wasn't going to work, the room was dirty, there were spots on the bedding, floors weren't clean minifridge was dirty, smelled like a super old building, I do not reccomend for family at all. We lasted 15-20 minutes and left.”

“Bed was comfortable, however bedding was not clean, had some food residue on comforter. Sheets were fine. It is not a great place if you are traveling with children. My mama gut was going off the charts. Not clean, the floor was sticky and I made my kids keep their shoes on until they were sitting on the bed.
