“The first night we were in this motel we had the NOISIEST neighbors upstairs. I couldn't believe how loud they were just walking back and forth and up and down the stairs right outside our room. I called the front desk to see if we could get a different room on the second story and the next morning we were moved! Absolutely no issues after that. The staff were so friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely recommend!”

“Pool is a risk, there were several like a lot titles broken or not attached to the floor, the grout was lost in a lot of them and it came out around the other title, which makes you in cases even step on them (like rocks) so you really need to be very cautious when walking, the drainage on the side of the pool is full of mold, in parts is black and on others is green, terrible. The room was clean and partially renovated so that was good. The room outside the pool has the brackets for a tv but...

“From the outside it looks like a nice place, the room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom. There was a fridge in the closet but no microwave, the room was dark as there is only one lamp on the nite table. The room is sadly lacking ac outlets and no lamp near the table. We have never seen a coffee pot like the one there, when you pour the coffee it leaks out over everything, also there was only one pack of coffee, we had to go ask for more. “For a motel this was better than what I thought, didnt know it was a motel. Still it had nice beds and pillows. Could be a little cleaner the tub had weird stains. The sheets felt that a little weird and some mosquitos that were there.”

“The place has a great price value ratio, the staff at the reception could be friendlier but the not-too-welcoming communication style was similar across Mackinaw City so it might not be the hotel’s fault. The place has excellent location, right at the port to Mackinac Island, free parking and buffet breakfast. Overall, I recommend it.”

“Room smelled HORRIBLE. Water stains/roof leaks down the walls, and hasn’t been updated since the 50s including the furniture. Extremely disappointing to spend the weekend with my family. I wouldn’t stay if I were snowmobiling with buddies either.”
