“Old motor lodge that has been updated. Its clean, basic motel. Tight.parking but plenty of it. Pool and hot tub worked as promised. Friendly dog at the desk too!”

“We had very pleasant interactions with the staff and the location couldn't have been more convenient to all the local shops, restaurants, and even the ferry to Mackinac Island. We were excited that our room was at the end of the building and hall as we hoped we'd have a window. We had a good laugh when our only view was the hallway. “From the outside it looks like a nice place, the room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom. There was a fridge in the closet but no microwave, the room was dark as there is only one lamp on the nite table. The room is sadly lacking ac outlets and no lamp near the table. We have never seen a coffee pot like the one there, when you pour the coffee it leaks out over everything, also there was only one pack of coffee, we had to go ask for more. “The photos are deceiving. It looks like a well maintained hotel however, it is an old motel with alot of outside, outdated stairs that the wood was split on the treads, railings we shaky and it was difficult to get luggage up to the room. When I got there the TV didn't work, they told me that they thought all of the TV's had been switched out and the RCA TV's didn't work with the new cable they had, they didn't have cable, they had Antenna TV. We had 15 stations and at least 5 were Spanish TV...

“Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again.”
