Springmount Retreat is a genuine
Eco-Retreat that is fully self-contained.
You should find all the facilities and amenities you require for a comfortable stay. The concept of our retreat is to share in a communal living space, connect with each other and nature. Setting the fire, preparing meals and cleaning up are activities shared by everyone. We encourage a technology free haven and invite you to bring your favourite games and activities.
The space
Our retreat is home to many native plants, birds and animals. Kangaroos often graze and relax a few meters from the eco lodge and a variety of beautiful birds soar above.
The traditional custodians are the Kaurna People, we are incredibly fortunate and privileged to be the present gaurdians of this magestic place.
We have immense respect for the environment and tread lightly,
We trust our guests will do the same as they enjoy 90 acres of pristine Heritage land.

Other things to note
Is Spring Mount right for you ?

This property is off grid so runs on rainwater, solar system and self composting toilets.

There is no air-conditioning however is designed with very effective ventilation that utilises the cool sea breeze.

Children under 10 must be supervised, not suitable for toddlers or infants.

Our lodge has spiral stairs leading to beds that are arranged either end in one open space / void, great for yoga mats.
Bathroom facilities are connected to the main building by a breezeway.

We provide linen on the 2 beds in the main lodge, there are spare mattresses under the beds so can sleep up to 6. You will find doonas, spare blankets and pillows, bringing your own extra sheets / pillows is optional .
In the bunk house we provide sleeping bags with liners, pillows, and spare blankets.
Towels provided per guest.

Kitchen limitations
The fridge is compact and efficient, we also provide an esky for drinks.

There is no microwave or dishwasher in the kitchen we have a 2 burner gas stove top and a wood oven connected to the combustion heater inside, great for home made pizza or roast veggies on a cool night. Outside is an undercover kitchen with large industrial oven, BBQ hot plate and wet area with sink.

Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. This is a retreat not a party venue. Breach of this may result in immediate termination, payment for security, excess cleaning, rubbish removal, wear and tare or damage costs .
