“Clean and very pet friendly”

“The hotel and the room were clean, but we had a constant issue with supply. The pool was out of towels and even after asking for more, we never got them. Lobby restrooms out of paper towels for days on end and when they finally restocked the paper towels, they were out of toilet paper. Housekeeping changed our sheets but did not give us any towels, toilet paper, or garbage bags. Also, the free hot breakfast was sub-par. The eggs were watery and hard at the same time. “We had a great stay, however the wait staff in the restaurant was mediocre at best. We tried two times, but found outside restaurants instead. Highly recommend Malia’s for breakfast.”

“The room was OK. The bathroom floor was dirty. And the air conditioning unit sucked. It was cooler outside than it was inside. And the porch door was not sealed at the top so it was just extremely humid in the room. Definitely just ok.”

“Went with my toddler daughter and my husband. We had a oceanfront room on the 7th floor. The view was absolutely beautiful. Me and my husband woke up every morning at 5:15 so we could go settle on the balcony and watch the sunrise together. That was probably the best part about the room was the view. “We’ve been coming to OC for 25+ years and have stayed at The Hampton Inn ever since they opened. We always get our preference of a bay room, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We were a little apprehensive with it being a pet friendly hotel but there were no issues. We appreciate the fact that they have already remodeled when the hotel isn’t really that old. Pretty bummed though that the tiki bar has been removed 😔.”

“We stayed here over Father's Day weekend as a family of four. The hotel was nearly sold out, so we were placed in an accessible suite with a separate bedroom and living room. The front desk wasn’t very helpful answering questions relating to nearby areas and left out that you can shuttle to their sister property (Aloft) which seemed to be in much better condition. “I would not stay here again. The night staff was rude. I’m not sure why my room had two air conditioning units in it and neither was controlled by the thermostat. There were bugs flying around the room. The beds weee not comfortable. The housekeeper and maintenance man were very nice.”
