“This was a wonderful place to stay for my Bucket List Trip to Mount Desert Island. The location is just what I needed to relax and unwind. The hosts check in on me via text to ensure that I had everything needed. There spot in the forest was like a trip back to a time of wizards, fairies and knight. ”

“This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. “We stayed 2 nights while visiting Acadia. We wanted to be away from the craziness of Bar Harbor… this location satisfied this need. Check in and communication were great. We stayed in room 7. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Only minor issues that I would want others to consider is… 1) proximity to the highway is very close, which is apparent when I look back at the website pics. It wasn’t an issue for me, as I wear earplugs anyway, but I did hear a siren once, as it is that close....

“Loved the apartment! Location is great, walk everywhere. The included breakfast was very nice and loved just walking downstairs to one of the best in town. Things to note-central/convenience has a price-Main bedroom is on the Cottage St side with lots of action including bars with live bands. “The rental was outstanding. Clean, conveniently located, close to downtown Southwest Harbor restaurants and stores, but just a couple blocks down the street so it was nice and quiet. Great, convenient parking right behind the building.Helpful, fun information from the host, along with outstanding communication from the host Ed.We loved this place and would highly recommend it for anyone heading to the Acadia area or just looking for nice getaway.Thank you!”

“The property was very well kept. The room was just what my granddaughter and I needed. I tried to use the laundry service however every time I tried to use it the washers and dryer were full of hotel bedding and I didn’t think I should move things. I would recommend this place to anyone. ”

“Our host Dave was very responsive and it was a great place to stay! Location was great as it was away from Bar Harbor to miss out on all the traffic but not to far. The accommodation was exactly as stated and perfect for a couple. Very clean, quite and comfortable. I would recommend and stay again if I have the chance to visit Maine’s coast again.”

“Right on the water! Perfect view of Boat races if you are in town for them. I was worried about being right on Main Street, but very little street noise in the town even during a big event. The deck is huge and lots of places to sit. The communal room had some nice snacks to help us keep our 6 year old happy. The town of Stonnington is well worth the visit and a perfect spot to relax. ONLY complaint is I'm not used to having to shuffle a car around due to parking rules. Parking on street...
