“Harbourside Inn was such a quaint and charming stay, tucked away in the quiet town of Northeast Harbor. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the livelier Bar Harbor, which ended up being the best of both worlds for us. The shops and restaurants nearby do close fairly early, but Bar Harbor is just a short drive away whenever you want a little more action. “The room was clean, towels were excellent, the bed mattresses were very soft and created sleeping difficulties for me. Breakfast was sub-par. The cranberry juice was mostly water, the toaster was slow, and not a wide variety of options. Only hot item was oatmeal.”

“Good hotel overall: clean, spacious rooms, well organized, and a convenient free shuttle to downtown every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my “ocean view” balcony room was right in front of the air conditioning units and the restaurant’s exhaust chimney. Constant noise and fried food smell made it impossible to sleep well or enjoy the balcony. These rooms should not be priced the same as unobstructed ocean views. Poor management decision that shows little attention to guest comfort.”
