“What a wonderful property! The renovation of this old barn is something to experience. The windows and french doors let in lots of light and add a glow to the large plank wood floors. The great room is incredibly inviting and a comfortable gathering place to eat, play games, watch tv, or just sit and catch up (very comfortable sofas). The kitchen has everything you need to cook and share meals.Outside is a generous grass area with forest and foliage aplenty, sitting chairs and a table, and a...

“The house was accurately described and was perfect for our summer family gathering in Kingfield. We had 5 adults, a 4-year-old, and an almost 2-year-old with us, and there was room for us to spread out both in the house and out back on the patio. The house is an old farmhouse with plenty of character. It's a short walk just across the bridge to Anni's Market, Longfellow's Restaurant, a coffee shop, and other shops. Brian was very communicative and responsive about checking in and answering...

“Great location, 2 bathrooms is a plus!”

“Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps.”

“This property was beautiful. It was a short walk to a pond where we could canoe. The property did not have air conditioning but the nights cooled quickly and the window fans did an amazing job cooling the upstairs bedrooms.Location is convenient to Rockland, Camden, Waldoboro and Damariscotta.Host was very responsive.”

“House is wonderful! Location is great to have a day trip to Camden, Rockland and Rockport. The property is relaxing and the animals are a delight.”

“Lovely old farmhouse on beautiful cape rosier. Large property and yard that the kids could play in. ”

“There was a rat bait station outside of entrance with hole in the house by it. The beds had no mattress covers, just fitted sheet. One mattress was super stained. Smoke detector in bedroom 2 was not hooked up, missing. We had 4 people& Stayed 8 days, not enough towels and wash clothes provided. We had to buy new while we were there. We had to buy scrubber to clean pots and pans, none provided. The furniture was not good. Futon was the only sofa-like thing to watch tv on. It was old and just...
