“The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our only problem was the lighting in the room. It was low in the room and the bathroom. A very nice place to stay.”

The room service was odd, our rooms were never attended, no towels changed or beds made, even though we could see the other rooms being cleaned and cared for. The room was clean when we arrived.”

“The inn itself is quaint and beautiful. The location is really nice but it is part of a college campus and a training facility for its students. I don’t believe the description mentioned any of this. Our room was lovely and sufficient, if I had any issues it would be how small the towels are. The young lady who checked us in and did the evening shift was okay. She took a little getting used to. I don’t think hospitality is her vocation. The day shift women was lovely. “Very dirty hotel. The carpet on the floor hadn’t been properly hoovered before our check in and there was dirt / dust / stains all over chairs and other surfaces. The room unfortunately smelt of smoke (even if it’s not allowed to smoke there apparently) and the sink in the toilet was missing the knobs. Overall a terrible hotel. The only ok thing was the bed. Not uncomfortable and decent bedding. Also - the personnel at check in was very nice and helpful :) ”

“My wife found the hotel charming. It felt like an old style hotel. No elevator (I was aware of this beforehand.) Our room had a private bathroom (down the hall, which I also knew was possible.) the maids didn't clean our room or bathroom until we complained. The rest of the staff was quite helpful. Buses run downtown on Congress St. (although we usually took an Uber.) Breakfast was buffet Euro. This review is the average on mine and my wife's.”
