AT THAT TIME, the host informed me that we could not use his property! He instructed us to cancel and seek refund with VRBO on our own, which we did after returning home. “Everything was new, which was a plus, coffee maker was great, took awhile to figure the how the stove top worked and had some problems with the front door opening (probably the deadbolt receptacle needs to adjusted) but the host help straighten things out, so not a deal breaker, communication was very good. “So we had a trip booked 5/22/26-5/24/26 booked over a month in advance and the host canceled the second night with less than a weeks notice. It was poor communication and we had to find another accommodation because of this. The host canceled the reservation for their family to come stay. I found it very unprofessional to cancel the second night for a group of 7 people leaving us scrambling to find a new spot.”
