They had rental bikes which made it easy to get around the island. Gili air is such a beautiful and unique place to stay. The only thing is the music from the mosque is pretty loud at 5am and would wake me up every morning. However it just made it easier to get up early and go watch the sunrise. “Le villette nello stile di Jogjakarta sono di legno scuro, arredate in modo raffinato e comodo ma le finestre piccole di giorno e le poche luci soffuse di sera rendono l'atmosfera un po' malinconica . La doccia esterna è molto gradevole. I giardini sono un po' spelacchiati e poco curati e la cucina mediocre sia per la prima colazione che per la cena.”

“Gili Eco Villas is an excellent place to stay! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and were very attentive. (Shout-out to Yogi for finding someone to repair a torn zipper on one of our large bags.) Our two-room villa was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The two pools are very nice and the beach is right there. Being at the north end of the island, it was easy to follow the beach a little way east to see the sunrise or a little way west to see the sunset. We rented bikes right there...
