“Room seemed nice enough when we entered. However when it came to the main purpose for getting a hotel room--getting a restful sleep after a hard day of travel--this place completely fails. First we chose this hotel partly for the on-site restaurant and bar, but the restaurant closed at 9, and the bar closed at 10, so we had to go somewhere else. Useless. The worst though is the sleep experience, or rather the experience of not sleeping. First, their cheap shower soap gave my wife a rash....

“It would have been useful to have poop bags in dog potty area, it was empty so people weren't picking up after their dogs. I was there 3 nights and they never checked to see if I needed clean towels or if my room needed freshening up. Other than that the room was very clean with comfortable beds with large pillows! Great breakfast options.”

“It’s a very old hotel. Which does not bother me. But it was very poorly maintained. There was only one person on staff. And you had to call a phone number to find them. Their pool was not available or their hot tub was not available. They did not have the room stocked with the essentials light soap. Towels. Washcloths. Half the time the toilet didn’t flush. “Positives: Hotel and room were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. Two bedroom suite was spacious. Very convenient location. Cons: 1) Careful with pre-arrival check-in. Keys were ready when we got there and check-in was quick, but our room was given away while we were there. Fortunately, it was during the day and we were in the room when this occurred. Front desk did correct the booking problem. 2) Our floor (3rd) was quiet, but heard people/children walking/running...

“I was expecting much more for the rates we paid. We paid pricing comparable to Hilton or Hyatt, but the overall experience felt closer to a Motel 6, Days Inn, or Extended Stay. Even those usually include some type of breakfast. The room itself was clean, but the property was overpriced for what was actually offered. “Room was filthy. Toilet was clogged and we had to go ask for toilet paper. Tv was unplugged and water was shut off to the sink. The microwave only had one knob that worked. There was also a wet plastic bag and wet toilet paper wadded up in the shower. Took the staff an hour after we checked in to resolve any of the issues.”
