“5 out of 5 stars Rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Staff were very helpful and kind. Everything within a 5 minute distance from hotel. Breakfast had a great selection of food including bagels, cereals, fruits, muffins, and eggs. Check in and check out was a breeze since you were able to do it through your phone. Pool was a nice temperature as well and very clean. If we ever come back to Winchester, we will definitely be staying here again.”

“The Wayside more than met our expectations for early American historic properties. It has a broad selection of antique-filled bedrooms that are clean and comfortable. The public spaces vary from an 18th century log tavern encased in the younger early 19th century spaces with elegant Victorian parlors, all immaculately dusted. “Super clean and modern, comfortable beds, staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms are well equipped (fridge, coffee and tea) and standard hotel size, one space saving feature is no closet just a small rail will several coat hangers, and no room safe. One suggestion I would love to make is to ask the hotel to supply alternative plant based milks at breakfast. Great stay, would definitley stay at a Microtel again!”

“Needs updating. Breakfast area was messy. Bed was comfortable and clean. Shower worked nicely but definitely needs an update on furniture in living room area. Chair looked like it was dirty n cat scratched. Ehhh Reception personnel was very nice. Good for a 1 night stay n close to route 80.”
