“I stayed one night prior to my flight back to the USA. My stay exceeded my expectations. It is a motel (which I prefer to a hotel) with parking in front of the room. The property has multiple access points with minimal security. It is also on the corner of two busy roads, but I felt safe. The room was very comfortable and clean with nice linens and a comfortable bed. The air conditioner worked great and there were at least 20 channels on the tv. “The room was comfortable and well maintained. The building is an older building but the maintenance is mostly on point. The stair wells and corridors need a bit of a clean up. The parking is minimal but kept tidy. The use of the bag lift is useful for upper floor guests. Great location with the bowls club and cafes near by and close proximity to race course and airports. ”

“The boom gate on the car park was not working when we arrived but was repaired by the time we left. One of the two lifts was not working for all of our stay. Our bathroom sink plug was stuck but one of the staff managed to dislodge it. ”

“Staff were wonderful! Pub is great! Room is clean and livable, but for the life of me i cannot figure out where the mosquitos are getting in. All widows were closed, and we had 30+ mosquitos in our room (and some cute baby geckos). While i understand its queensland and these things happen, they just keep coming! We had room 3. Besides the mossies and the baby gecko guests we had a great stay. ”

“Hotel was ok. The shower pressure was weak. The bed was quite firm. The onsite restaurant only served breakfast all day. After 10 pm the front desk was closed and you needed your key card to get inside. ”
