Hi Sheila,Apologies our builder hasn't renovated that room just yet. After owning this motel for only 1 year and 6 months, of which 6 months was government lockdown, its surprising we haven't spent the hundreds of thousands of dollars required to get the whole motel renovated all at once. We have however, renovated 8 rooms already, unfortunately just not the twin rooms yet. As for the shower curtains, they are washed, WITHOUT FAIL, EVERY TIME we clean a room. As for the carpets, our new rooms have no carpets. Its easy to judge others for their failings. and its lucky we aren't publicly judging you, because I bet you you could do with some improvements too!

Thanks so much for your feedback. We do have intention of renovating each of the rooms fully, including new bathrooms, beds, cabinets, fridges, flooring and fittings. We hope to begin in a few months, doing 2 rooms at a time. As new owners, since August 2021, we needed a few months to determine priorities. Plus with covid lockdowns for first few months it made it difficult to begin, then we needed Christmas/New Year to pass and time to find some local tradies. So watch this space, we have big plans but they will take up to 2 years to fully complete. Again, we really appreciate the feedback and look forward to making this Motel the ideal place to stay while exploring the region.
