“In actual fact the property needs to be bulldozed and replaced. It is a worn out old motel. It was only for one night a bed and a shower in the toilet and that’s all it was good for, the fluorescent light in the bathroom flicked and wouldn’t stay on the smoke detector in the room had been removed. I thought that was an interesting effect. When I asked the motel staff they said I will fix that question. Maybe not. It’s my first and last day there.”

“I like staying in this motel. It’s right in town and is comfortable. The bed is good and it’s clean. It’s behind the hotel and the food is excellent there.”

“The house is really pretty and well kept, the food was good, the staff were polite and helpful. Unfortunately, none of that adds up to the sound of the raucous downstairs throbbing through our room constantly and at a decibel loud enough to be measured on the Richter scale until midnight…. I don’t have a problem with the club having a function and people having lots of fun- but maybe don’t sell the stay as a quaint and old-school relaxing retreat. “I had the top 2 bed cabin and there had clearly been a hole in the wall that had been patched but not painted. This is also clearly a place for workers and the worker next to me had really loud music throughout the night. Otherwise it was a lovely cabin with everything you could need. ”
