“We booked the Dinney B&B due to its close proximity to the Astbury Golf Resort, where we were attending a wedding reception. We visited the Dinney early, to work out the logistics and chanced to meet Keith the owner. He allowed us to drop our bags in our room, gave us our keys and assured us that we could leave our car at the Astbury, walk back and he'd sort a lift back the next day - now that's excellent customer service! The room was comfortable and clean, with a good ensuite shower room....

“Clean room, good parking, friendly staff and decent breakfast”

“This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay.”

“Given wrong room number on check-in but key cards for the room we were supposed to be in. At dinner, provided with out of date menu so meals ordered were not available and had to select something else. One staff member advised cocktails available but they didn't know how to make them. “We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus! Check in / check out was swift and efficient. “The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.”
