“Had a decent stay. Bed was not very comfortable though. Staff were polite. Food was just okay. Probably not stay again due to the fact on my day of departure, I practically had to walk over all the clean bedding and towels for the next guests because they had been placed on the floor outside my room and on the stairs that everyone uses to get to and from the rooms. Everything should have all been in a clean laundry bag.”

“Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.”

“Run down. It was probably once a nice place, it’s dirty the carpets were worn out. The room we had, had no hot water. It wasn’t pleasant at all, so we ended up staying at a local friends house instead! ”

“Accettano cani solo di piccola taglia, ma non era stato specificato nella prenotazione perciò ci hanno consentito di portare il nostro golden retriver e sono stati molto gentili ed accoglienti. ”

“Room below par. Felt grubby, didn’t smell nice throughout the hotel including reception which gave poor first experience. ”

“Bedroom was freezing cold, towels were threadbare and shredded at the edges, breakfast wasn’t properly cooked and we had to leave the sausages”

“Overall a great experience, the staff were extremely helpful and polite. First morning no fruit or yogurt at breakfast and second morning got our breakfasts completely wrong. The room was really nice and the bed very comfortable, I would definitely stay again.”

“La stanza è molto spaziosa confortevole, si dorme bene, il pub è distaccato e almeno in questo periodo non porta problemi solo qualcuno che si mette ai tavoli esterni più vicini ma li si può sentire mormorare ma non da dare fastidio, potrebbero arrivare però urla fino a oltre la mezzanotte di bambini di genitori non capaci di educarli. Il pub è particolare come lo è il personale oltre che essere cordiali, un posto da scoprire”

“ Public areas were good but hotel areas less so, the corridors were a bit dated but my room was very shabby, noisy, above public toilets with hand driers loud and constant, outside was the courtyard area with loud music and people talking loudly. Plus the fumes from cigarettes/vapes coming through the sash single glazed windows. After a long hard day it was not what I wanted or needed. Informed staff member on leaving but they took no details nor said they would inform the manager”
