“Property was very clean. Beds comfortable. Location to ferry was great. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Staff was friendly. They had a wonderful gentleman named Sid who had a knack for showing up at the exact right time to provide an enclosed golf cart ride to lobby/ breakfast. Would definitely stay again ”

“The Inn at Stonecliffe is wonderful! All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The renovated facility is stunning, with each room’s decor unique. No detail was spared. We especially enjoyed talking with George, the manager at General Store, while getting a breakfast sandwich and coffee to go. Loved our stay here!”

“I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I was to stay here! Please read on to the end! I stayed in the Bavarian Haus for only one night, but enjoyed my stay. The room had a fridge and a microwave was available near my room. The breakfast had enough options to get me started for the day. “So, this is a very old property. That said, it is very well-maintained. I am of the mindset why not stay in a room that has knotty pine walls and mid Century modern furniture than the usual cookie cutter hotel. Parking is directly in front of your room door. It is 20 feet to walk to the lake front. It is a very nice walk up and down the lakeshore. There are geese and other water birds fishing in the morning, people with their dogs running along the shallows. Just the sort of vibe I want...

“Very nice little motel. After reading some comments I was a little bit worried about the fact that the hotel would be a outdated. Don't worry about that, the stuff is very caring, it is very very clean and is in good shape.”

“My biggest complaint is the uncomfortable pillows. Just couldn’t get comfortable, too hard. I will bring my own next time. The continental breakfast consisted of bagels, Cheerios, orange juice, apple juice & coffee. Our room was small but we knew that going in as it was stated. Room was very clean, recently repainted, etc. We would stay again. ”

“This is an older hotel but it's very clean and well kept. It's very conveniently located to the ferry. We were able to walk to the ferry easily. It's close to shopping. It was very busy while we were there, but after 10-10:30 pm, we never heard much noise. I was able to hear someone in the next room snoring so the walls aren't super thick. I just popped in ear plugs and went right back to sleep. The people working were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.”
