“We had a wonderful stay at Yarra Valley Lodge and couldn't have been more impressed. The property is set amongst beautiful natural surroundings, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a true escape from the city. The spacious room was spotless, comfortable, and offered lovely views of the gardens and estate. The lodge is located on a large estate near the gateway to the Yarra Valley wine region, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.”

The mini wine and kitkats were a nice surprise however we would have liked to know in advance that the restaurant and bar were not open at night especially given it was a long weekend. “This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent.”

“We were surprised and quite disappointed especially since the facility was advertised on expedia as a hotel, on getting there, we got a motel. We paid for hotel services on expedia but got a motel. The rooms we stayed in were not as displayed in the pictures.”

“Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. No curtain to cover the window facing the loft bedroom which let the hot sun beam...

“The accommodation was reasonably good, breakfast was provided in the fridge, all you had to do was cook it. My Autistic 7-year-old grandson loved the spa bath and would have stayed in it day and night if I had let him. The unit was two bedrooms, each with a king size bed that was comfortable and warm. The kitchen/Lounge had dated furniture, but it was fit for purpose. included were a microwave oven and a dishwasher and a flat screen TV, although reception at times was poor, and selection of...

“Room was ok nice and clean. Shower was really good. Parking the car is a bit hit and miss. Had to park away from the room. Not a big deal as we didn’t have much luggage and only stayed one night. Overall it was ok.”
