“Very clean. Is a parking lot nearby 2 mins opposite church £5.80 for 24hrs. Got email with instructions to enter. You need to get code to open little lock boxes just outside front door. Is a restaurant next door, think same owner. Were friendly if need advice to enter. Might want earplugs Sunday morning as church bells ring, but i like that. Overall great place and very reasonable price. Right downtown too. ”

“Really cozy room. I travel a lot for business and when it happens to spend the night in a place like this it's like tasting a bit of home during the trip. Breakfast simple, but good. Kind staff.”

“Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had the family suite which was amazing. Lacked coathangers but other than that it was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.”

“Dormire nella storia...in un hotel che è li da 500 anni ! Scelto quasi per caso dovendo spezzare tra il Galles e l'aereoporto di Stansed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Situato proprio nel centro di una graziosissima cittadina la location è calda ed accogliente. Stanze curate accessoriate e pulite. Ha anche un pub/ristorante curato e dai prezzi accessibili. Se poi si preferisce uscire, attorno si trova di tutto in pochi metri. Un plauso anche alla colazione, ricca e variegata”

“Everything was as we expected. Great staff, friendly bar and a great steak night. Not forgetting a fabulous breakfast. The only negative were the impressive bird droppings on my windscreen after I made the mistake of parking under the trees in the car park. Long journey to Tesco Wellingborough to find a car wash!”

“Couldn't fault this hotel at all. From the beautiful grounds, the grandeur of the building, the impeccable customer service, the delicious food, the spacious, elegant room, the clean, luxurious spa. The drinks were a tad on the pricey side, but the mid week room price including spa access was excellent value for money. Would come here again in heartbeat. ”

“Albergo "pittoresco" ; arrivi e devi telefonare per farti aprire la porta. Ambiente buio e stretto; scale larghe 70 cm... Nessun hotel in Italia potrebbe essere autorizzato. La camera era fredda e piccola; il calorifero spento. .”

“Excellent value for money with everything you need for an overnight stay. Included breakfast was very welcome too. Really friendly staff. An easy place to get to only a few miles from Stamford. No doubt we'll stay again.”

“La struttura è antica, bellissima ma poco manutentata. Vetro rotto in camera, tappeti e moquettes ovunque poco puliti. C'è molta polvere. Le persone di servizio sono molto disponibili e gentili. Il ristorante degno di nota.”
