“I had a suite for a week to relax and visit with my son who lives in Menomonie. Several of the days were spent doing just that, relaxing and visiting. The homey atmosphere was just what I needed! We were going to fix a meal one evening and the stove top didn’t work. With just one person there, we weren’t able to have it checked out. I forgot to remind them of that when I checked out. “Stephanie is absolutely delightful! Wonderful knowledge of the community and the history of Oaklawn Inn and Menominee in general. This is a charming and thoughtful bed-and-breakfast. Speaking of breakfast… it was great! A special bonus is the large wraparound screen porch with lots of comfortable seating. We will be back in September and we’re going to book now. ”

“The room was very dark. There were few lights in the room and the wattage was low. The kitchen area for breakfast was very small with little seating. The place was so jammed with kids (baseball tournament) that we had to go somewhere else for breakfast.”

“The room smelled like fresh paint when we got there but that got better as we got it cooled down in there. There was no lotion or soap in the bathroom at the sink, which sucked cause ya know, would like to wash our hands after using the bathroom. The room overall was clean.”
