“For the price we paid the hotel was absolutely fine. Lovely leisure facilities, nice biscuits with the tea and coffee tray. Lift’s available. Bar and restaurant and food were good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Sadly it’s all a bit tired. Cracks in plaster around the building, dark decor just in need of TLC but as I said before, this was reflected in a very good price. I would definitely book here again.”

“We accidentally booked the wrong month, through Expedia. Expedia said we could move the booking, but the hotel needed to do it. The hotel said we could move the booking, but Expedia needed to do it. We lost the money and had to book again. Parking is very limited, you have to park in the hospital car park, which I'm not comfortable with. “We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.”
