“This was our second stay at St. Eugene. I have found when booking through Expedia you are given a less desirable room. The overnight stay was good. The only issues were that the door to the room had a non operable lock and we used only the flip over latch. A proper door lock is most important during a hotel stay. There was one bedside lamp only and it didn't work. It seemed that the beds were smaller than actual 'queen size'. I could be mistaken. The casino was fun.”

“The bed was very comfortable and we got a great sleep. Some areas need attention at thr hotel. There was dried up dog poop on our floor behind the door that our little dog found right away. It blended in with the carpet so I guess I can see how it was missed. My biggest concern was that the door used to enter the wing of the motel we were in did not lock at all and anyone could enter. “The room we had was perfect and the breakfast was very comprehensive, something for everyone and more. It is so nice not having to find a restaurant before hitting the road.The staff who checked us in and out was amazing, fluent in English and French and always a smile on his face. Having a separate bedroom was a plus as we were a couple plus one. Situated close to the highway made it easy to find but also direct to town or walking distance to fast food outlets.
