“Clean rooms!!”

“Pool was green and very salty, breakfast ran out of coffee in the dining room and main area with no replacement, had to call from the front desk for someone to check us in, parking lot was too small and we were sent down the road to find “whatever we could find”. Elevator shuddered at every floor stop, very unsettling.”

“Breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast. Rooms was nice, full fridge, stocked kitchen area. Halls clean. Pool area was clean. ”

“Firstly, want to state the staff is always warm, friendly & accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, but had a “foot” smell, (have noticed this on prior stays)-a deep clean of the carpets may be in order. We used a side door for convenience and just outside of it the pavement has a large, uneven gap that’s a considerable safety issue. Hopefully that can be repaired before anyone is more seriously injured. While these are maintenance issues that are easily addressed, I’d like to...

“Great place to be.”

“No morning breakfast was offered as part of the stay. Was not a fan of body wash, in lieu of a bar of soap. Bed was a bit lumpy as well. Everything else was fine.”

“Would definitely stay again. Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Fresh full breakfast was excellent.”

“The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, spacious and styled nicely. We’ll return again when we visit our family nearby, and will also try Van Acre which our family highly recommends!”

“Bathroom was outdated and had some mildew issues. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff was wonderful.”

“The staff were excellent! The breakfast was hot and delicious I can’t believe how good the biscuits and gravy was! The pool area was also wonderful I could not get my 5 year old son out of it! We will be staying here for every future visit!”

“Room was clean, staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was always hot, full and ready. We had no issues with parking on any of the 4 days there. 2 small things I found different but not serious. For breakfast there was no salt or pepper for taste. Our room while kept clean and stocked our dirty towels piled up. Again, neither item was in anyway an issue that would cause me to complain or not suggest others to stay at the Wausau Hampton Inn.”

“The room was so humid, the floor was sticky and so was everything else. The ac was on non stop even though set to Auto. Super humid all through out.”

“Didn’t like nothing about it!!! Had to move rooms in middle of night cuz the children of the place kept slamming the outside doors open and closed!!! Moved room then my 2 yr old had found two different types of pills in her pull out bed!!! Had to keep asking for towels and other room services to be done!!!”
