“Bellissima casa in stile vittoriano, sicuramente non per gli amanti della modernità ma per chi adora calarsi nelle atmosfere vintage. La colazione, tipicamente inglese, nel suo genere è ottima. Il centro città può essere raggiunto facilmente a piedi, ma non manca la fermata del bus nelle vicinanze . Mi mancava solo Miss Marple!”

“Siamo rimasti a York per tre sere, provenienti da Londra e diretti ad Edimburgo. La città medievale è splendida, la guest house eccellente. La camera spaziosa per tre persone e arredata splendidamente. Il bagno in camera. Pulizia ottima. La guest house rimane a circa 15 minuti dal centro, raggiungibile a piedi o anche con servizio di autobus. Consigliamo a tutti coloro, famiglie e non, che decidono di fermarsi a York. I proprietari gentilissimi e molto premurosi. ”

“I booked the stay as part of a surprise for my husband's birthday, and he was very impressed and absolutely raved about it. He could not fault a single thing about our stay. Starting with the location, it was not far to walk to York centre (around 20 minutes or so). We stayed in the Samurai suite. The theming of the room was fantastic, right down to the sunken bath. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was evident that the owners had not scrimped on quality of the furnishings or bedding....

“The room was very nice. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. ”

“A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all. The flat is a funny layout. “Had a wonderful stay at apartment 32 with the family. Super clean and all Covid Regulations were adhered to. Wonderful location to explore York and a beautiful home to relax in at the end of day. Rooms were large, kitchen was excellently equipped and the lounge room was perfect to relax in. The host was friendly and happy to help with anything and the only downside is that we weren’t there for long enough. I can’t wait to come back! ”

“It was very clean and the facilities were as described. We had a twin room. It was downstairs next to the front door but it was very quiet in the property. We weren’t disturbed.
