“We had visited Whitney's Inn before and were aware it is currently transitioning to new ownership, which apparently aspires to revitalize the whole ski resort community. So we had reasonable expectations going into this. The property has certainly seen better days - our bedframe was literally caving in! But staff were friendly and willing to help make things right. “We enjoyed our two day stay at the Wildcat Inn. The back garden is lovely and the furnishings are really interesting. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was inconsistent. Our first night my husband's beef tips dinner was delicious, while my French Dip sandwich was not good. The meat was so thinly shaved that it was dry and crunchy. The following night my husband ordered a salad that he enjoyed, but my medium rare burger arrived raw in the middle. The waitress took it back and...
