“This hotel has the best view of the lake I have ever seen, I was in awe when I stepped out on my patio! I could have sat there for days! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The rooms and property are showing their age (a little), but the staff and the views are well worth going here.”
“We stayed on the top floor with our guest from home country, Japan. We had some concerns about bed bugs based on past reviews, but we didn’t see any signs and had great time with fantastic view.
Some tips: there is no elevator and no dedicated parking place.”
“Petra made sure we had everything we needed. Room included wine, beer, snacks, fresh fruit and lovely breakfast each morning rolled in. View is amazing. We had private sauna and whirlpool bath. Much needed after all our hiking. If you can handle the steep, windy, narrow roads leading up to the village it’s all worth it!!”

“Linda and Dani were the most amazing hosts! It was the best experience I had in Switzerland. Very authentic and they went above and beyond taking care of me. I was a solo traveler and it felt like home! I highly recommend this hotel. So many memories and Dani always had a new surprise for me waiting! Easy walk to bus station to go to Interlaken Main. The dogs and kitty were an added bonus!!!!”

We have had the opportunity to put the bikes inside the rooms, to use the bike corner with every tools and pump and, finally, a free shuttle in the morning race, at 5am!

“I usually try to stay close to whatever transport hub I’m using. But the were no rooms available in Interlaken, so I had to look further afield and happened upon a gem I would never have expected to find. Set on the mountain side with a view of Lake Thun and the Jungfrau mountains right there in front of your own private balcony. An amazing view. The room was compact but very clean. My only quibble was that bed had a footboard which is always a problem for tall people. The bus stop is right...
