“Considering the price, the apartment was ok. There is an air fryer, kettle and toaster. Washing up is a challenge in the small sink in the bathroom. Filling the kettle is difficult as it doesn't fit under the tap in the bathroom! The bed was ok, but you can feel the springs. The TV didn't work as the aerial lead was damaged. The hair drier was dangerous as it was full of dust and smelt of burning. The views over the bay were spectacular. Ok for a couple of nights, no longer though.”

“The hotel is incredible! We were greeted at the front desk by friendly staff who were very helpful in storing our luggage until our check in time and pointing the way to the bus station so we could explore Hadrian’s Wall that morning. Upon our return we were greeted by more friendly staff and directed to our room. When we opened the door our reaction was “Wow! What a great place!” The rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully. Tea, crumpets, local jam, and other accompaniments were laid out...

“Friendly helpful staff in all areas of the resort. The apartment was super clean and everything in good condition. Appreciated the emergency supplies of milk, sugar, salt & pepper etc. Beds were very comfortable - sofa bed to sit on as a sofa was uncomfortable, but then it is a sofa bed.. Position of apartment on the lakeside was a real treat. Thoroughly enjoyed stay and will come back again.”

“The location and apartment were great! Unfortunately the beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in - so lumpy and uneven we couldn't sleep for the 2 nights we were there. The sofa bed mattress was so thin you could feel the metal frame all night. The mattresses all need replacing!”

“The room was fantastic! Very comfortable, spacious and surrounded by greenery. They don’t have onsite front desk, so it can make late requests a little challenging. Give time for their WhatsApp communication, it’s not very expedient. They are very accommodating, however, and overall we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend.”
