“My family and I had a wonderful week long stay, the house was spacious, clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, paddle boarding and floating on Lake Pickerel, along with great bonfires and making s’mores in the evening with a beautiful view of the lake. Being able to use all the paddle boards and Kayaks was amazing and so fun!! We rented their pontoon and had many hours of enjoyment fishing from it as well as swimming in the middle of the lake. “We just wrapped-up our week long family vacation at Jewel Lodge on Mantrap Lake. This home is a true jewel, as it addressed everything our large group needed for a fantastic week. The home is beautiful, extremely well equipped and easily accommodated a group of 18 people (8 kids under 11). John and Wendy are great hosts and were quick to answer any questions and assist with any needs the group had. Everyone had a great time and are already looking forward to next year's stay!”

“Absolutely lovely. Small, pristine and quiet lake. We live south of the Twin Cities; hearing all manner of loon calls was mesmerizing. Close to Lake Itasca State Park and the Mississippi headwaters. Owners so kind and nearby and available for any need with just the right amount of involvement.”
