“The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Most of the guests live there as residents and hang out outside in front. Most of them are retired or near retired age. I found the residents to be polite and respectful during the quiet hours early in the morning and in the evening after 8pm. The motel isn't fancy, but the bed was extremely comfortable, as were the sheets, pillows, and blankets. They seemed new, or near new. “The hotel is in a quiet environment with beautiful trees and green lawns. We booked a room for 4 people, and it was pretty spacious when we walked in. The purpose of our stay was for the daughter’s graduation ceremony at UW, so it was around a 20 minute drive away from campus (a little far but not a problem if you have a car). “This is an old property, and the rooms reflect the age. Not bad, dirty, or in disrepair, but well used and not updated. The breakfast had decent variety, but the "hot" items were not very good at all, maybe because they were kept in steamer trays with no heat source. But the waffle maker worked great, and the coffee machine serves hot fresh brew 24/7. Front desk staff was mostly absent during key hours (like morning check out). Seems like they live on the property, and spend more time there...

“Booked a double queen room, when we got there they only had a single king available. When we got to the room and pulled out the pullout couch there was no mattress. I went to the front desk and was told there aren’t mattresses on the pullouts and was given a pillow and a blanket for my daughter to sleep on. Needless to say we all slept in the king. Why would I pay for a double queen room for 3 of us to share a bed. Highly unsatisfied.”
