“We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”

“Loved the location! It was right across from the lake! The hotel was okay, no frills but the rooms were very clean! The property itself is old and could use a little TLC. The small restaurant attached to the property (Elements) was absolutely amazing and convenient! Overall great stay!”

“Just wow. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable staying in any hotel actually this was more of a motel. Im so surprised this had good ratings, it’s the only reason why I stayed here with my family. Never again. The worst by far. ”

“On the day of check-in they could not find my reservation and the person took my ID to her manager without providing me details. I was waiting for 15 mins without any information. After coming back, she explained that they were not able to find my reservation. It was annoying. The room service is at the minimal even though this is a 4* hotel. “The room was clean and very cute however there was no one at the front office when we got there and their maintenance man saw us in the parking lot asking for our contact info without ever telling us who he was. He was trying to be helpful but I except someone to be available at the office upon check in. In addition there was work being done in the room above us and all kinds of of banging happening until 11 at night and then again starting at 6 AM”

“The name is very deceiving. Resort and beach club. It's no resort. And there is no beach club. You have to walk a couple blocks to get into the lake. The hotel gives you coupons for what I don't know. Because you have to pay to get in. It is not even part of the hotel. The hot tub was so dirty. It had gray gunk all the way around it . The pool was the same way with a lot of debris because the grounds themselves were not hose cleaned swept or anything with weeds growing out of the cracks. The...
