“It’s just a pub with some rooms. Dirty, smelly, cheap furniture and cheap mattress very uncomfortable, worst breakfast ever had, didn’t even offer a glass of orange juice. Staff leave the place in the night and guests are left on their own until the next morning. Horrible experience.”

Being honest the receptionist was a sweetheart and did the best that they could, but the hotel was a different story entirely. “If you want a good nights sleep don’t go here . Not the owners fault early morning bin wagons market setting up . Quality of the room was poor shower door missing hairs on the bathroom floor. Mattress was like a bed of nails”

“A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !”

“DO NOT STAY HERE. This used to be the public bathrooms, it is in the middle of two busy streets, down a staircase with no windows, it is therefore of course super noise, scary and they do not say anywhere in the listing. I was unable to check in door code never worked, after contacting the property they never refunded. This is a complete scam, there is nothing cool about the experience. Scary and dangerous ”
