Motel a Lato Nord Estremo

“Our room was all one open room, not like the picture that shows a kitchenette. Everything was clean and updated, but the area was bad and a sketchy people hanging around. There was a person above us stomping and slamming things around, so I didn't sleep at all. Turned out that the manager called police and paramedics because they were concerned about their mental health. They did not offer us a discount for the inconvenience and lack of sleep either. Not worth $277/ night, but at least it was...

“My flight was cancelled at OHare. All flights were. So hotel demand was high. Rooms were marked up 3x over normal times, and most were sold out. I settled on this place. Nice clerk. Nice property grounds. Room: mattress good. Sheets good. Blanket and bedspread questionable. Bathroom awful - faucet 100 years old and crusted over, shower was a trickle but warm. Water tastes terrible. Shower drain mostly plugged.. AC ok. For one night, I've been in worse.”

“We were never able to check in. We arrived at the motel at 6:30pm. No one was available to check us in. There was a sign posted outside the office saying that check in was only from 3 to 4pm. We lost the money we had paid for the room, and had to find another hotel to stay in. A drug addict who was staying in one of the rooms was wandering around in the parking lot. He scared my wife.”

“I came into the place with two beds and one had pee in it and the staff not only did not give us a refund but was ready to leave us with no place to stay, and so we had to settle with the one bed then accused us of doing it and not taking accountability for the situation.”
