“The room was clean and quite nice. Unfortunately no bath robe and slippers. No gym either. Nice breakfast the morning after. Parking very expensive. Do not use it, there is a public one close and much cheaper. The position of the hotel is central. On the railway tracks but no noise at all. Overall a good experience.”

“I had great expectations for this stay since I’ve been to Wengen several times and I looked forward to stay at this hotel, that I value as the best there. It was a short stay to ski, so I arrived and I departed late. The reception closes at 16.00 so I found my room key waiting for me with a nice note and that’s it. After 16.00 there’s also no service to and from the station: a minor issue. I felt really unwelcome without a human contact with the reception: I can understand that at a “cheap”...

“Overall is a nice hotel in an historic building; the surrounding area is really beautiful with a covered bridge almost in front. The services provided are limited, some of the furniture outdate (some is actually vintage and it’s nice). Breakfast buffet is good but a bit limited”

“What a great experience. Highly recommended to book the room with balcony with mountain view. What a blissful sense of peace! The hotel is in front of Allmendhubel ski lift and 2 min away from Birg/Schilthorn gondola. Couldn't be better placed. Room was small but clean and warm. Personnel was nice in the extreme. Good breakfast and restaurant food. For the restaurant I advice to book in advance. They fortunately let us seat but it was fully booked and we were lucky. I regretted leaving, great...
